Whats your most interesting stuff?

I post this to Apex, but i guess it could apply to anyone?

I was wondering recently, you guys (Apex) being an importer (?) or at least distributor of great stuff, what, since as long as you've been in business, was the most interesting stuff you yourselves have got?

I mean, i was stoked when i got some balkan furniture with carvings all over it and hash marks and such, but being that you guys get huge amounts of the stuff, whats the craziest or coolest stuff youve seen come into your warehouse? Not just furniture, anything?

Boy, that question brings many, many things to mind.
We have handled a LOT of material since APEX first got started.
The M2HB and M1919 Browning kits that came out of Yugoslavia were unique and I was very excited to find that some of the M1919A4's had been converted to 8X57 by the Yugoslavian Army.
Back when we had large shipments of Yugo AK kits Jeff spotted this carved kit and set it aside for me. Here are the imgaes of the finished gun::







We have also handled a small batch of excellent Romanian PKM kits. All of which became semi-auto firearms.
More recently finding the BGS FAL's was an exciting time.
I have also had the experience (many times over) of opening a box and finding bags of hard to find parts. The same parts that I myself had tucked away after years of searching thru gunshows!
The more I think about this the more things that come to mind!
APEX has been quite an experience!

Interesting thing I remembered.
The day Jeff selected me that carved Yugo kit he also found one earlier in the day and had it set aside as well. In all the activity it was "absorbed" and never seen again. We plan to vacate that storage building soon and I expect to see all sorts of "old inventory" that was "lost" behind or in other boxes.
We have plans to dedicate a person to GunBroker and E-Bay for these types of one of a kind items.
