I finished up the last of the standard GI barreled guns today and am starting on the ones with the US barrels. This will take a while as there is a lot of extra work to cut the extractor relief and install all the parts onto the barrel.

Pirate,
While looking at the pics you have posted I noticed some of the boxes had “shorty” written on them, but mine, invoice 1031, did not. I’m sure you have it straight as my invoice is correct stating it is a shorty, but just wanted to make sure. Sorry for the OCD.

Wow! I do not posses the vocabulary to accuratley convey how amazing all of this is.
2 questions Pirate:

1) Did you get my package with the 4 magazines and the DPM cut reciever? ( i can see you are extremely busy)

2) what parts are left over due to the semi conversion and 922r compliance? Are those leftover parts shipped with the finished firearm?

ps: YHM is sending you the 5/8x24 RH QD mount for my Phantom Supressor for my short RPD (1037) Should arrive any day now.

A supressed short RPD should be very entertaining. )

Thank you so much for all your hard work, and all that you do for the Firearms community. I am very excited about my short RPD and Bren !

Carreaper, I got your box with the parts, this came for you today as well.

As for what is left after the semi conversion is not much, the sear, spring and old takedown pin. I send them back.

I started on prepping the US barrels for installation, the first step is to mill the extractor relief. I had a special cutter made to replicate the original contour.
