Thanks guys, as you can see it is a lot of work to do. these are labor intensive guns to produce and when doing over 20 at a time, it takes a while. Even though I have done over 200 of these so far there are still unexpected problems that lead to delays, like having to spend several extra hours removing the barrel scrap form the US barreled kits.

This coming week I will be starting the lowers, there are several machine operations to do on these as well as fitting the semi fcg parts. this will take several days.

The lowers are nearing completion, the first step is to machine out the front pocket to eliminate the attachment point for the fa sear and provide clearance for the sa sear.

Next a clearance slot is cut with a ball end mill for the trigger bar return spring. Then the excess material on the front of the lower is sawed off and finish machined to length. Then the fronts get a clearance cut to fit the receiver.

Now the most critical operation is to spot the holes for the trigger bar & sear. I do this in the CNC mini mill to get them all perfect.

This is a tricky operation as the holes pass through the radius on the lower, so I use a special mill drill to do it with.

I use the fixture from the mill to finish drilling the holes in the drill press.

There are 3 operations left, I should be able to finish them tomorrow and the lowers will be ready to install the semi fire control parts.
