VSS Vintorez replica
I haven't built this yet and it will be sometime before I am able to attempt it. I'm currently learning how to build an AK, particularly a Polish underfolder. I have drawn out plans to convert an AK pistol to 9x39 (or just use heavy 7.62) and suppress the gun in a shroud that attaches to a metal hand guard. Since this will constitute as an illegal build, I also drew up plans to make a shroud that covers the barrel and piston of a normal 16" AK with no suppression and is 100% legal. I intend on making my own stock too. I would like to know if anyone has done this before. The Vintorez is one of the coolest, sexiest rifles in my mind.
