I have several after-market hi-cap mags and several factory mags. Everything I have tested so far works OK. I haven't tried all of them yet. When it warms up a bit more, I'm heading to the boondocks for some shooting. I want to try every mag. There is no sense in keeping any that are defective. I'll sell them to Diane Swinestein!
I have some of the steel ProMag ones, other then the follower they look and feel like a factory mag, they all feed well and only one has a problem holding the bolt open when it's empty, looks like the part on the follower got chipped off.
