arsenal SLR106 FR is this a good price????

i saw a used but excellent condition arsenal SLR106FR for 699 at a local shop. the rifle had a nice rail system on it with fore grip and a cheap leepers red dot scope. it came with at least one 30 rd mag and was chambered in 556. 699 seemed like a decent price and i started to put something down on it but decided to wait and do a little research before committing to buying it.

thanks for the link...699 MSRP means you should be able to get on NIB for a couple hundred less so I think I'll pass. the quad rail and fore grip on the used gun I saw was nice but if i'm going to pay 700 i might as well buy something brand new and buy my own rail. thanks again

Have you priced Bulgarian ( even Stamped) Arsenals??? They go for a premium.

in my area i don't get to see very many arsenal AK's for sale because most of the shops have AR15's and century guns. i know arsenal AK's don't sell cheap but if msrp is 699 I'm not going to pay above that just to get one. i have a couple AK's but wouldn't mind owning the arsenal if the gun i saw was a good deal. seems like it might have been an OK deal with the rail, foregrip and cheap red dot but not good enough for me to pull the trigger. i appreciate everones's input.

I'd say if you were looking to add a railed hand guard and forward grip anyways, it would be a good deal. I paid $700 for mine and think I did pretty good on it.
