I can answer that for you. Nodak Spud. But why would you want a new receiver?

Are we talking about the receiver(then no)? Is this a parts kit?

I'm sorry I must've misunderstood uechiguy. If you mean by parts kits (build it youself) no.

It doesnt look the best but it works as of having 600 rnds put through it. It will later be changed to a steel rod. And it would be completly covered by a side rail.

It looks like you cut the original pin, am I correct?

No, that's the original safety selector and a roll pin.(Now its a actually a steel rod that's threaded into the selector).

there a several ways to get a scope on a tantal by using rail like HCpookie mentioned as well as red dots on the rsb and on the fore grip. Im not sure why you would want to eleminate the one cool feature that the tantal has (the LH selector ) to mount a non original looking rail ( ya I said non orignal after I modifey every kit I get) side rails are not the optium in accurcy and if its not going to be orignal then why not use a better option? the beryl mounts would be the answer IMOO. Id keep the cool selector some thing I wish all AK,s had
