Sorry Tom, never heard of them.
But check them out on GB and see what kind of feed back they are getting.

Bluejack, am I mistaken, or do the mags look like polymer on the CFS site?? They look like they might almost fit a PSL-54. I'd love to check one out. Nice gun.

Checked out the site. As you guys probably know the Vepr was originally made by Molot until they were forced out of business over some sort of patent infringement. I believe Saiga has the rights to the designs now. It differs from the Saiga rifles by having 2 trunions on the receiver like the RPK instead of just the one side. VEPR means boar in Russian and it is not the brand name, only the model. It was originally a boar hunting rifle with only a 300 yard iron sight. It came with a really nice side mount scope ring set up. I was surprised the site did not have the VEPR in .308. Only the Super Vepr is available now in that caliber. The .308 Molot VEPR I bought in 1996 or so will undergo some modifications to sniper it up, but I will be able to restore it to it's original form except for a flash hider addition. At least they still sell the magazines for it and I will pick up a couple of them but they are pricey as hell. Lastly, I think it is the finest AK I have ever seen and whatever caliber you choose you are getting a fine product. They are better fit and finish than the American made Arsenal and they are cheaper to boot.
The magazines are polymer and are very well made, (thick).

The 10 round metal vepr .308 magazines are cheaper... And the importer is bringing more normal vepr .308 rifles in the near future.
I have one of the Robinson arms Vepr I's in .308 which I like.
