Just a question or two Dave, what does the gas settings do and what magazines are you using in the Youtube vid?

The gas settings are to lessen or increase the gas pressure. One hole is slightly larger than the other and increases the pressure to the piston. The mag I was using in the video was a Romanian 10 rd with a modified magpul follower. Here is a progress pic. Curtis is having to measure each one as they are being made so they are very time consuming to make. These are not chromed yet, just machined prehard 4140 steel at the moment. When he gets them all done we will take them to be hard chromed and engraved.

Curtis is going to run as many as he has material for. I do not know that number other than the original group buy member will be covered. If he has others available they will be listed on his website at Ak-Builder.com

Fantabulous!!!!! I'm bluing my receivers and other misc. parts and am near ready to build. I just hope I don't waste too much time and money learning how to rivet.......... I didn't buy enough G kits.

All of this waiting proves to be worth it for those of us who got in on time and patiently bided our comments till the product was ready to ship. I will be happy when I install my first piston & can't tell the difference between OEM & AK Parts replacement gas pistons; except for the markings.
