If you have an FFL on file with SOG they have a better deal
Also read the info area in these ammo ads, they mention the Garands

Yeah I got some of that Greek stuff too, but I don't remember what I paid, I was thinking it was under a hundred per tin?

No way in hell I'd put any Korean ammo in my Garand. I've got a pile of it I bought years ago & will NEVER use it. Out of three 8 round clips I tried I had THREE nasty split cases that scared thee hell out of me & I'm amazed the rifle had no damage.

So what your saying Brad it's like the Indian 308 stuff that flooded the market a few years ago?

When it comes to my Garand or any other rifle chambered in 30.06, it's my handloaded ammo. The surplus stuff goes in one of the 1919a4's as blasting ammo for fun @ the range! I'm keeping the Greek for a special day!

Had some of the Indian stuff too and experianced the same, split cases. I ended up pulling bullets and powder, and recycled the brass at the scrap yard. Very brittle brass in those rounds for sure, but cheap enough at the time for component use. If I remember right at that time that ammo was cheaper than the componints to reload with so I tried it out. It's not so good, but the powder and bullets were fine for reuse and cost effective if you don't figure in your time to reman them into good brass.
I am not defending this korean ammo but I have reloaded range pickups I found marked KA marked cases and the PSE stuff and never had a problem, these plants are the same ammo plants that currently make PMC brass
again the Indian 308 stuff is garbage, the paki 303 is garbage.
personally my problem with this stuff is the price, Imagine what the rifles are going to go for when they get here
