I had pretty much the same thing happen to me. I ordered the amd65 kit with the 14.5 barrel so the original barrel end would put me to the legal 16 inch length. They sent the pistol kit. Talked to Curtis on the phone, I didn't want to return what I had so he sent me the parts I needed including the extra length barrel end to make the legal length as the pistol kit comes with the 12.5 barrel. Had my parts 3 days later.
