Thumbs up Daisy air rifle

allright, iknow that this sounds childish, but i live in asubdivision and like to shoot my powerline 1000 spring piston air rifle because, well, because i cannot shoot a real gun when i get home.
I've hadmy rifle for 3+ years and called to ask daisy if they knew of anyone that could do some work on the piston etc.
they told me that they would;\
check the piston,
lube the rifle,
replace the sights,
replace the damaged stock
replace the fire control group
and chrony the rifle.
FOR FREE! I DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING
they did and I paid for nothing!!!!!!!!!!!
HEY EVEN SENT ME BACK THE REPLACED PARTS WITHTHE REFURBED RIFLE!!!!!!!!!!!
I didnt even ask for this!! he explained to me that when my air rifle was made, the trigger pull was in xcess of 12 lbs
it was when it was new,but i used it alot and softened it up to between 6 and 7lb pull. the new trigger has a 3 lb pull and it always gets me. the new stock is less bulky, slimmer and lighter. so- essentially, I am still learning how to shoot my rifle....again.
anthony Stratis at Daisy is in charge of the repair department and took care of me from the start.
if you EVER have a problem with your Daisy air rifle, call them and ask if they can help!!!!

no company has ever taken care of me as Daisy did.
blown away.....

You had better be careful with that, or you'll shoot your eye out

Zippo is that good too. They will repair or replace any real zippo lighter at no cost, you will have to pay shipping however. If your lighter is not repairable, but has any sentimental value to you, they will return it, and a brand new lighter.

Sorry for the hijack.

I wonder, perhaps Zippo has changed again?

Around 1980 I sent in a keepsake Zippo, the hinge had broken, with a letter asking for a repair. I received back a new lighter, and no keepsake. The new lighter was the same model, but not nearly as nicely done as the original - brass showing through the chrome on the inside, stainless wick container instead of brass, etc. I was not amused.

Great news about that Daisey, though. Absolutely WOW!
