Dan is the man!--Salute to Dan?s Sporting Goods

Guys,

I just had a great experience with Dan?s Sporting Goods.

On 7/14 (during everyone?s price hiking), I placed a Bulgarian AK74 sidefolder order through Dan?s website while it was ?Temporary out of stock?.

On the Sat 7/16, I called Dan, to ask him when he?ll have them again. He told me that there will be no more shipment, and he was looking through his warehouse to dig out the final ones of the AK74?s. If he find one he?ll let me know. I thought he just tred to tell me no in a nice way.

On Sunday 7/17, based on Dan?s great reputation, with a little expectation I called him again. Guess what? He told me he did find the last one, and will sell to me with the old price $299. I couldn?t believe my ear! Everyone has hiked AK74?s price, Dan could just told me that there was no more in stock, or he has to sell in a new price, and I would totally understand.

Today I received the Bulgarian AK74 sidefolder kit, new condition! What can I say?

its nice when you find a stand up guy to give your money to, especially in the gun world. There are so many slim shadies out there its not even funny.

I kinda wished I woulda ordered one of those from him...Mines not in pristine condition, but it will do.

I just recieved my polish underfolder from Dans and to describe it in three words.......AWSOME,AWSOME,AWSOME. Collector grade dated 1972 and is totally unfired, unused, un everything! Full of grease though. This is an odd kit for me however because its the first polish underfolder IVE seen or had that was paint over park. Very interesting kit. Thanks Dan!

I got three grade 2 Polish UF from Bob Williams/Dans and they were all like new with the only exception being one of the folding stocks had very little finish on it and 2 of the pistol grips were rough, one was actually cracked almost in two. The wood was excellent - laminated.These 3 kits were in remarkably good condition. I called Bob and ordered 3 more of the grade 1 kits, I can't wait to see them, but honestly if they are as good as the 3 I just got, I'll be happy. I have nothing but good to say about Bob and Dan.
