Question Dot sight for AK-74 side folder?

What do you guys / gals recommend for mounting a red dot sight on a Bulgarian side folder. I don't have a side mount on it now, but I guess I could mount one. I assume the stock will clear the mount without the optics mounted but probably not, if optics were attached. If I go the side mount route, what mount and optics do you recommend, reasonably priced of course, something in the neighborhood of $200 side mount and all?
Pics?
Thanks,
Guy

ooops, might want to move this to the appropriate forum.

+1 for ...

I have a BEC from local gunshow, its 1x40mm I paid $20 w/2 batteries and rings... Ive shot over 3000rds thru that scope, w/at least a brick of 22LR thru it on that gun (Rem. 522 Viper...gotta mag, I need one)....

The BEC gets abused. Ive shot w/it in the rain and when it was under 40* (gets cold here in Jan) I cant say enough about it. Its a standard 4moa dot and its got 11 settings...

I would save the $$$ from the Kobra and go buy a case of ammo

, do you have a pic of the mount you made, I would like to see it. I would like to use my iron sights as a backup, so that sounds interesting.
Thanks

Default BARSKA PANORAMIC SIGHT?

Just looking through the Sportsmans Guide, anyone tried BARSKA's Panoramic Sight?
