Default MGS and timely shipping of my RPD parts, anyone know the owner?

4/21/10 Ordered "in stock" parts kit and receiver.

Finally got the receiver this past week, but they still are holding my parts kit. Evidently they sent my parts off to get measured so that they could have someone else build them. Who knows when I'll get my parts, but I already paid, and they should have shipped what I bought. I am a little pissed off about it... thought I would see if anyone knows anyone over at MGS.

They lied a few times to me on the phone, something I don't really appreciate. Just a heads up.

Took my money... waited a few weeks and NEVER got my receiver, so I called.

"Oh we didn't ship your receiver and semi parts because we didn't know who your FFL was." Really, I listed it on my ORDER.

"Oh well we needed to hold the parts so a guy can come by and measure them, he should be here tomorrow and we'll get them right out." Really then why did you mail my parts to SOMEONE ELSE?

Fast forward to today: Called. Where are my parts? Ummm, they should be on their way back in the mail to us? WTF... I didn't say you could mail MY parts to someone else. I said I was ok, with you taking a few days to measure them.

When I paid for the parts and MGS accepted my payment the parts were MINE, not theirs. Which part of that did they not understand.

Mark

PS - Yes, I am a little pissed off. In general I like MGS, but lying is not excusable, nor is not communicating with your customers.

Yeah... I had the same experience ordering a kit from them a long time ago. Took forever to send and inconstant reasons on the phone. Why the hell would they need to measure your parts? Do they not have a hundred other kits to do that?

Obviously they want someone to make them cheaper. They ran out of kits.
