On November 5, 2008. I ordered an Ak 47 safety from them. It is the 21st.

It still hasn't came yet. I e-mailed them about a couple times and whem they

refused to repsond I filed a complaint with the Texas BBB. Today I called

them, they said they would send it nexy week. They already cashed my

money order, but they didn't ship my part. I ordered parts from JOEKENS

and David's collectibles and they cam over a week ago at the same time.

If my parts don't come within thirty days I will file complaints with the Texas

Attorney General's Office, The FTC and The United States Postal inspector's.

I have ordered parts form Century, Apex, Ak Builder, Joekens, Davids

Collectibles and DPH Arms, so far MGS is the only one to jerk me around.

I have an AKM that I built and I'm waiting for one part from them to test fire

it. I woulkd avoid this company like the plague.

Ya should have asked around on some of the boards first, their rep isn't that great. Sorry to hear you got bit.

Sometimes MGS can be real assholes, but they have always came through. Last time I had dealings with them, it took over a year to get my product.

MGS is my favorite store. I live close by so I always just stop in and they have always done me right. The election and ensuing run on guns and gun parts has caused most vendors to run behind on their shipping. I ordered 4 Galil mags from J&G sales on the 7th and hadn't heard anything from them either. I went to their website today and just found a note saying they were swamped and are a couple weeks behind on their shipping. Have a little patience.

I see them at gunshows in Houston all the time. They've been very good to me - including bringing down 'special order' items that they don't normally bring.

When every firearms vendor in the country is swamped up to their ears, a two week wait & then going ballistic seems a little overboard. They have always been one of my favorites. But then when I was young ,anything ordered by mail said six to ten weeks.
Sso I guess I'm a little more patient. AIM is also a favorite & members have posted they can not even get through on the phone.
Maybe you should stick with Joeken if your more satisfied?

IMHO -- a $10 part isn't worth all that trouble. Filing a complaint with the BBB?

You don't have something in 2 weeks and you're being "jerked around"? And you post your complaint on a gun board you've never had anything to offer although you've bought from a number of vendors?

I mean this to be taken personally -- you are the kind of individual that persuades me to not sell gun parts.

I had some problems with them. I call and ask to make sure they have what I need in stock and they tell me yes. but two weeks later when I call them, they are out of stock but they have something similar in stock for more money. I'm sure they're fine people, they just wouldn't be my first choice.

you ordered it on the 5th of nov, 3 days to get the money order to them. so it has really been only a few business days and you have already called people (BBB)because someone didn't return your e-mail. man you must be (or think) your something special. i know some people are not wanting to wait, but this stupid. i have used this company for years for guns and parts and not always been happy with them, but i am not going to get on the net and run my mouth about them. how many site have you posted this on?
are you at all aware that there is a rush to buy things going on? many of the dealers are working overtime to get out the orders, etc. if i were them i would send your money back and tell you to go some where else for you part. if was a month or longer maybe i would be in your corner, but "bubba" get real. there are real problems to worry about and this is not one of them.
