Post1911 SARCO's new e-site

i ordered a few AR-15 parts from SARCO's new website.

just some old a1triangle hand-guards and some a2 hand-guards along with some other odd small parts. the good thing about the e-site is you can check to see if an item is in stock before you order.

SARCO has been known for slow shipping on mail order stuff.

but this came in in just a couple days after the order was was placed.

if your considering placing an order with SARCO for some old parts. it is certainly worth it to go through their e-commerce web page and order on line.

Hopefully the they have stepped out of the stoneage and have a system that runs as smooth as your report. Come on we all know that the Sarco warehouse is big enough to lose a dozen Sherman Tanks. All Dave does is wander around finding lost priceless shit. Have you ever noticed that when they have an item at a fair price that is selling too well they suddenly run out only to relist it four months later at three times the price. I'll keep ordering cuz been doing bizness with em over 25 years but that owner is one savy tightwad.

I'm batting 100% with them. Never has a deal worked out to my expectations.

I used to try them once every 5 years in the hope that something had changed but they were the one consistent point in the universe.

They either:
took my money and never shipped
took my money and promised to ship
took my money and shipped junk
took my money and shipped the wrong thing

And then I got to argue with somebodies Grandmother on the phone.

Anybody pay taxes? A corporate requirement is inventory. If they lied to the government the way they lied to us, that savy tightwad would be in jail.

Other than the slow shipping, I've had good luck with them over the years. I've heard some real horror stories though. Their wed site has sucked to the point I usually just try their add in sgn over attempting to trudge through their incredibly slow site. If it's fixed I'll give it a shot again.

I checked out the site and it seems to actually work!

Boy am I glad I read this thread. Im getting ready to buy an uzi parts kit from them. Im not willing to gamble right now, so I think I will find another route in acquiring the parts. Any one know of somebody with an uzi parts kit for sale?

Winn, I must be your polar oppositive with Sarco. I've had nothing but happy ending experiences with them, although they are not my first go-to company for parts. They do have some things others do not. If I have any questions, I'll e-mail Dave before ordering and he promptly responds within 24 hrs. E-Sarco does make ordering easier. The old lady who used to answer the phone and take orders was a real trip. I was never 100% sure what she thought I wanted when ordering but always got what I asked for.

The 'just found in warehouse' bit cracks me up everytime I see it.

I have read bad reports on them for over 20 years: however, they have always done right by me.

Did they ever decide to have someone who speaks Engrish...to take orders?

I have never gotten what it is I wanted from them.
