With the recent availability of bending jigs that actually appear to work, I may have to give flats a try.

After ruining my first flat, I am ready to make a real bending jig. My FFL dealer shut down shop and I really don't feel like finding another to purchase receivers through.

George,
You have a mill, why aren't you using bent blanks.
I would think they would be a piece of cake on a mill.

I am doing two (Ace) bentmetal receivers now. They are coming out real nice. $15.00 flats and rails just seem too good to pass up!! I also want to be able to say that I made a jig that can bend flats. It is all part of this cool hobby. One can never have too many toys...I mean tools!
