About LinkBacksI've seen some with the lightening cuts, and some without. I've been told the receivers with the lightening cuts are ORF receivers and to stay away from them. Who makes the others?

What are lightening cuts? I have heard lightening cuts when referring to gas blocks and receivers.... please explain.

Century. I know 2 guys that have purchased them recently, one has each receiver. They both tell me they are great rifles, but they live out my area and I'm not able to shoot them for myself.

How much is Century charging for the M76 build???

if you have the $$$ go for it!! I love mine!
as for the reciever.... I got a rapid fire and many of the dimentions were off!! most critical was the barrel hole too high. this left the top of the carrier rubbing the block. also changed from top rails set to the barrel hole center. so the carrier war in the proper position but the bolt was not quite lined up with the barrel hole.
made for a very difficult build!! if I did not have the machines here it NEVER would have worked.
I would have got my money back but I bought the kit and reciever months before.
anyway now it workd great ant I realy love it. if you can get one all build for that price go for it!!
I am off the page for extended times due to job requirements, not gone forever
