I am looking for an interesting already built Krinkov. Any suggestions?
Yes, ORF is here and I heard there were some people dissatisfied with them. I have no info regarding why though and no one has come forward to complain as they did with CFS over and over.
The only thing I've seen folks complaining about is the prices on the kits they have. Not a poor mans hobby if you would like to build something other than a Rommy anymore.
weren't they the ones that got screwed hard by FAC when they were still in business ?

There were some comments on ARFCOM that were the reason for my asking about the Ohio companies.

Is Ohio Rapid Fire the firearm building part of the company that makes the different AK receivers in Ohio? Aren't they the part that makes the complete rifle? A friend of mine who is in the Army Reserves has a Ohio Ordnance AK-74 that he purchased form his Sargent who got it about a year ago from Ohio Rapid Fire. That little AK is a great shooter out to 100 yards. It is almost too good as it will sometimes cloverleaf at 50! I just want a good build at a good price. I like the authentic apearance.
Thanks.
ORF isn't Ohio Ordnance. Todd at ORF builds up many different rifles, to include his excellent AKs. He mostly uses Ohio Ordnance receivers for his builds. If you have one, you've got a good rifle.
Todd also builds HKs and things. He has his own machine shop for production work as well.
I live in the area and have visited the store. Its a great place and Mecca for military firearms buyers!!
well from what I heard, Todd doesn't build anything anymore.
He farms out all of his work.
Too much money to be made in the kit selling business ......
But that is just what I heard.....
Yes, OOW is a seperate company and Todd has used their receiver because for a while OOW was the only game in town that could stay around and actually produce them in great numbers.
Todd also has sold and done builds with other receiver types. I have an ORF Romanian that is a very solid rifle. It was my first American assembled AK after my Mak90.
I think Todd had to take some time off building when he moved. I called the other day to discuss some business matters and he said he was very busy setting up his machines again.Originally Posted by DrugRunR
