SharpShooter -

Could you give us an estimate on what it cost to build? It's probably the most economical beltfed out there to build and shoot

this is a hard core tag.
eagerly awaiting a tutorial to build this!
any idea how hard this is in comparison to a standard AK build?
or 2XTM build?

Default Would a yugo kit work?

I have a yugo M70 front end sitting around. Would that work for this type of build, or would the bulged trunnion be a problem?

Thanks,

JJS

Default Yessir the "Bulge" will work fine!!

Can't speak for SS's MG47ES pattern. But both of my MG47 type test guns are built using the bulged RPK type trunnions. They actually worked better for me than the regular width trunnion.

Thanks,
Emory Jones

My ES prototype is made with a bulged RPK trunnon. The standard with trunnion on an ES build would require some spacers to make it the same width as a buldged trunnion. The inside of the receiver is wider on the ES than on the standard MG47.

So, it sounds like my bulged trunnion Yugo M70 kit would work. Is that right?

Thanks,

JJS
