What do you all think the probability is that we will have a REAL confrontation with IRAN? Would it happen this year? Will RUSSIA and the rest of the middle East join in? Will the South American countries get in on the deal?

Hey folks, nobody here has freaked out and gone religious!

Hal Lindsey has been pretty much on top of it for decades.

This individual has been a real to life end times researcher for a long time.

And, sense we are sort of looking like we are in that time heard of in Revelation, I am posting the Hal Lindsey report links here for you.

Make the best of it and hang on tight!

This week on 'The Hal Lindsey Report'
On this week's edition of "The Hal Lindsey Report," as Israel celebrated Jerusalem Day, the Arabs and Palestinians turned up the heat. Mahmoud Abbas and the ruling Fatah party said there will be no Palestinian State without possession of East Jerusalem. They also want the Temple Mount to be administered by the Organization of the Islamic Conference (the group of 57 Muslim states that refuse to recognize the existence of Israel). The OIC foreign ministers meeting in Damascus apparently agreed. President Obama is preparing to introduce his peace initiative based on the 2002 Saudi plan, but with ominous twists. However, both Israeli President Shimon Peres and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu declared on Monday that Jerusalem will never again be divided.

In a recent poll conducted by the Centre for Iranian Studies at Tel Aviv University, 74% of Israelis say they don't think the U.S. will stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons. That's apparently why 51% of Israelis want Israel to strike Iran's nuclear facilities now. And don't hold out hope that a new president in Iran will ease the tension. One of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's major challengers in the June 12 presidential election is the former head of the Revolutionary Guards. He says that if Israel threatens, he'll stop them "with one strike." It brings to mind the old saying, "Out of the frying pan and into the fire!"

Well, North Korea's at it again. Kim Jong-il must need money for a new shipment of his beloved cognac. Whenever North Korea is heading into a new round of negotiations or is in need of some quick cash, the Dear Leader explodes a nuclear test device or fires off some new missiles. Of course, the West scurries around, wringing its hands and muttering vague, indefinable threats, but, in the end, we give him more food, fuel, and funds. It would almost seem to be a game, if it weren't for that pesky Electromagnetic Pulse threat hanging over our heads. It seems that every test North Korea (and Iran, for that matter) conducts fits right into the design parameters for an EMP attack on the U.S., South Korea, or Japan. That makes it a bit difficult to just ignore the spoiled brat!

When the world's six wealthiest men met at Jekyll Island, Georgia, in 1910, the result was the creation of the world's greatest criminal enterprise: The Federal Reserve. Earlier this month, seven of the world's wealthiest people convened another secret meeting. The New York gathering was called by Bill Gates. Ostensibly, it presented an opportunity for these seven to present and promote their favorite charitable causes so they could pool their resources and really do some good in the world. However, according to the London Times, when all was said and done, the group decided that the world's Number One problem was population control. And, apparently, Bill Gates has decided that the world's population should be capped at 8.3 billion. Obviously, that means that in the next few years, criteria must be established and a mechanism put in place to decide who will be allowed to be born and who must go. If these seven are successful in putting their menacing plans in action, we may someday look back upon the creation of the Federal Reserve with a benign nostalgia!

Finally, atheists in Indiana weren't able to place derisive advertising on buses in their home state, but they were welcomed to do so in Chicago. As a result, Chicagoans are now learning that, "In the beginning, man created God." They're also being informed that, "You can be good without God." But as disturbing as that effort is, it doesn't hold a candle to sinister developments in San Diego. A pastor and his wife have been holding Bible studies in their home. The small, weekly meetings usually consist of about 15 guests. They have a meal, share some fellowship and scripture, then pray. Recently, they were visited and questioned about the meetings by San Diego county employees. Later, they were informed that they must stop hosting the studies or prepare to do environmental and traffic impact studies, as well as make application for major use permits. All told, those demands could cost them many thousands of dollars. You don't have to hold a Ph.D. to realize the chilling effect this could have on home Bible studies and home cell groups across the nation. The pastor and his wife have enlisted the help of The Western Center for Law & Policy to fight for their -- and our -- First Amendment rights.

Folks, things are starting to get serious right here in the good ol' US of A. If San Diego succeeds in shutting down this home Bible study, then Christians and churches across the country are in for a rough time. These brothers and sisters need our fervent prayer and support. God promises that He will fight for us, but we need to get engaged and remain engaged through intercession and by defending our Constitutional rights that are now being assaulted on a daily basis!

On this week's edition of "The Hal Lindsey Report," Dr. George Tiller, perhaps America's most notorious abortionist, was gunned down on Sunday morning in the vestibule of his church in Wichita, Kansas. A suspect was arrested within hours. Dr. Tiller personally claimed to have aborted 60,000 babies -- more human beings than the total of American soldiers killed in the Vietnam war. His clinic is one of only three in America that regularly performs late-term abortions (after 21 weeks). Dr. Tiller was responsible for more late-term abortions than all the abortionists in the other 49 states combined. Even though Kansas law only allows late-term or partial-birth abortions in rare circumstances, Dr. Tiller successfully skirted those laws for years. This was, in part, due to the fierce protection he received from the former Governor of Kansas, Kathleen Sebelius. Sebelius is now the Secretary of Health and Human Services in the Obama Administration.

Almost unanimously, pro-life organizations, churches, and religious authorities have vociferously condemned the murder of Dr. Tiller. The denunciations have been strong and sincere. Not surprisingly, though, mainstream media coverage of those condemnations has been sparse. The media has chosen to focus, instead, on the suspect's fundamentalist Christian and conservative political ties. This vigilante murder has probably set the pro-life movement back decades. It comes at a time when the Department of Homeland Security has suggested that the pro-life movement is a hate group and warned the public of its potential for 'terrorism.'

The production schedule for "The Hal Lindsey Report" required us to record this week's program before President Obama actually made his speech to the Muslim world from Cairo, Egypt. We'll analyze that speech thoroughly in our next Report. However, this week I explain the peril inherent in the approach the President has taken. It is becoming very clear that he intends to ingratiate himself (and America) to the Muslim world by forcing Israel to do what the Palestinians and greater Arab/Muslim world wishes. I'm afraid he's headed us down a path that will inevitably meet with failure and, ultimately, disaster.

Speaking of forcing Israel's accommodation, I think Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has figured that one out, too. In fact, it appears that Israel has already accepted the fact that America is throwing it under the bus and is making its own preparations for the future.

North Korea is also making preparations for the future -- the future test launch of another advanced missile, that is. This one will be able to reach the United States. And that will occur with the next few days, probably. Unbelievably, Defense Secretary Robert Gates played down this development by saying that North Korea didn't pose an immediate military threat to the United States. Unfortunately, South Korea and Japan cannot be as glib. South Korea's capital, Seoul, sits just 30 miles south of the border with North Korea. And Japan is only a few hundred miles away. Even if we don't feel the need to do anything, it's hard to believe that South Korea and Japan feel the same. Remember, Japan is the only nation in the world to have been attacked with nuclear weapons. I believe the spirit of the Samurai still lives in Japan. We may see Japan shake off her World War Two restrictions, create an offensive military force, and make speed to join the world's nuclear club. And if they do, they'll do it with breathtaking speed. Japan has the existing nuclear resources and know-how.

Finally, the Greens have struck upon a new environmental make-over strategy. "Global warming" is dead. It's hard to float that boat when we may be headed into another little ice age. They've now decided that the threat to mankind's future existence is "climate change." That covers them from both angles: warming AND cooling. Of course, they still face the challenge of convincing us that the threat is man-made and that there's anything we can actually do to prevent it. Naturally, it's going to require new layers of governmental regulation and taxation (and a one-world administration) to accomplish the task. But none of this is news if you know the prophecies of the Bible. Even Jesus Himself predicted what's happening today.

United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Sunday that Iran must expect full retaliation from a "a battery of nuclear weapons countries" should it ever attack Israel.

When asked during an interview with ABC News whether America had set as policy envoy Dennis Ross' statement that an attack on Israel would be seen as an attack on the U.S. itself, Clinton said:

"I don't think there is any doubt in anyone's mind that were Israel to suffer a nuclear attack by Iran, there would be retaliation."
"I think part of what is clear is we want to avoid a Middle East arms race which leads to nuclear weapons being in the possession of other countries in the Middle East, and we want to make clear that there are consequences and costs," Clinton told interviewer George Stephanpoulos, though she would not elaborate on whether the U.S. would be part of said retaliation.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Foreign Ministry said on Sunday that a new report on Iran by the United Nations' nuclear watchdog shows that the global body cannot be trusted to monitor the Islamic Republic's nuclear program.

"These findings demonstrate that the international community, no more than Israel, cannot place its trust in IAEA monitoring in Iran," the ministry said in a statement.

The International Atomic Energy Agency report said Friday that Iran is continuing to expand its uranium enrichment, despite three sets of prohibitive UN Security Council sanctions.

The watchdog reported that Iran had increased its rate of production of low-enriched uranium, boosting its stockpile by 500 kg to 1,339 kg in the past six months.

Stating that the report showed the agency's inability to carry out full and effective monitoring due to Iran's lack of cooperation, the foreign ministry urged the world to take concete steps to thwart the Islamic Republic's nuclear ambitions.

"What is needed from the international community is immediate and determined action to ensure that Iran will not be able to produce nuclear weapons," the statement said.

"The weakness currently displayed by the international community allows a country like North Korea to pursue a policy of defiance, and Iran is an attentive student of this policy."

A separate IAEA report said Friday that the agency has discovered traces of processed uranium at a second site in Syria.

The IAEA has been examining U.S. intelligence reports that Syria had almost built a North Korean-designed nuclear reactor meant to yield weapons-grade plutonium before Israel bombed it to rubble in 2007.

On Sunday, the ministry said the report detailed many "suspicious findings," and criticized Syria's reluctance to let the watchdog visit the various suspected nuclear sites.

"This situation reinforces suspicions that Syria is trying to blur evidence of secret nuclear activity that took place at Dir a-Zur in eastern Syria," the statement said. "The Agency should condemn Syria for hiding the facts pertaining to this activity."

On this week's edition of "The Hal Lindsey Report," Israel is beginning to feel the heat. In Riyadh last week, the King of Saudi Arabia told President Obama that he wants the U.S. to settle the Israeli/Palestinian situation immediately, even if Obama has to "impose the solution."

George Mitchell, U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East, says that President Obama has now declared the creation of an independent Palestinian state to be a matter of "U.S. national security." The President has not yet explained the convoluted logic behind that reasoning. Furthermore, I'm sure the Mainstream Media won't bother to ask! Mitchell's instructions are to bring the parties to the table ASAP and get the situation resolved, no matter what the concerned parties think.

Prime Minister Netanyahu and most Israelis oppose the two-state solution. Here's one reason why. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas recently declared that the Palestinians have fulfilled ALL their obligations under the Oslo Accords. And even though Netanyahu has offered to sit down and negotiate without pre-conditions, Abbas says that he will not even talk to Netanyahu until the Israelis have fulfilled their obligations. And you know what? That statement (even though it's a bald-faced lie) seems to satisfy the Quartet. Is it possible they actually believe him? Apparently. They convened a conference of nation-donors in Norway to pledge more hundreds-of-millions to the Palestinians to help with the "building of institutions and governmental capacity." Read that: buy more weapons and train more terrorists.

This week, I'll show you specifically which Oslo obligations the Palestinians have fulfilled. Read that: none!

Remember the IAEA? That's the International Atomic Energy Agency. It's the UN organization that couldn't find a nuclear plant even if its mammoth cooling tower was billowing steam in the next block. Well, the IAEA must have gotten Iran's press release, because it has announced that Iran now has 7,200 centrifuges on-line at its Natanz facility. That's enough to generate material for two nukes a years. More impressively, though, the agency announced a second, unexplained discovery of uranium traces at a Syrian site. In 2007, Israel bombed a 'plant' in Syria that was thought to be a plutonium-producing reactor built with North Korean assistance.

Israel is calling for further international investigation. That's because if Syria is still pursuing nuclear technology, it means its ally, Iran, is going to benefit from it. That alone is plenty worrisome, but there's something else to consider here. For students of Bible prophecy, the mention of nuclear weapons and Damascus in the same breath raises a red flag. I'll explain why this week.

Finally, as I promised, I'm going to take a closer look at President Obama's recent address to the Muslim world from Cairo. This event is beginning to take on mythic proportions. In fact, many on the Left and in the media are referring to it simply as "The Speech." This week, I'll review some of the President's statements and assertions in "The Speech" that have been overlooked in the media -- statements that answer some of the lingering questions about his attitude toward Israel.

The message is mainly directed at U.S. naval forces in the Persian Gulf that regularly encounter Iranian naval forces in those waters.

"We are watching, and ensuring disciplined restraint on the part of our naval forces," one official told CNN. The U.S. military's concern is that Iranian naval forces could engage in some activity in the Gulf waters that could be a "triggering event," that U.S. forces might been compelled to react to.

The second official said there is also great concern that Iran not misunderstand this message calling for restraint, and think the United States is lowering its guard.

The Antichrist will take over Iran by using a human decoy to trick the Iranian Ayatollah in power. This will involve the "yes men" and puppets of the Ayatollah's court. The Antichrist will first drive away internal supporters of the Ayatollah by starting a civil war. Then he will put forth a man as a leader, a man for Iranians loyal to the Ayatollah to concentrate their hate on. The man will be assassinated while Iran is being taken over, and his opponents will think they have foiled the overthrow of power by assassinating him. But they will find out later he was merely a decoy and that they played into the plans of the Antichrist.

The Antichrist will initially obtain power in his own sphere, Asia, and the Middle East. As he grows out of this arena, and into Europe, the next step will be into the Mediterranean, his area of strength. Because of his Middle Eastern heritage he will have already united North Africans, who are sympathetic to his cultural background, with his Asian and Middle Eastern conglomerate.

Israel: Time to act against Iran is now!

Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Sunday said the re-election of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad means that the time has finally come for the international community to take action against Iran’s defiant nuclear program.

Lieberman stressed that the problem with Iran was never just about Ahmadinejad, but about a national policy. With Ahmadinejad’s controversial electoral win, it is clear the powers that be in Iran are determined to push forward with that policy.

Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon added that if there was any hope in America and Europe that the election would bring change in Iran and soften its positions, that hope must now be thrown out the window, and a real plan of action formed.

Meanwhile, senior members of US President Barack Obama’s administration told The New York Times that he intends to press on with plans to hold dialogue with the Iranian regime. Obama has refused Israeli requests that he put a firm time limit on talks, and commit to stronger action if diplomacy fails to curb Iran’s nuclear program.

In an interview with ABC News last week, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton suggested that America no longer plans to directly defend Israel if Iran launches a nuclear attack against the Jewish state.

Clinton said that if Iran attacked Israel with nuclear weapons today it would face some sort of “retaliation.”

When reminded by her interviewer that during the 2008 presidential campaign Clinton said an Iranian nuclear attack on Israel would elicit a massive American military response, she attempted to sidestep the issue. When pressed further, Clinton repeated that an Iranian attack on Israel would bring some kind of retaliation, but refused to commit to a direct American response.

Many Israelis have been counting on an American nuclear umbrella to deter any hostile Iranian intentions, but some now fear Iran is being signaled that attacking Israel won’t cost them nearly as much as previously feared.

DEBKAfile's military sources confirm that the Army of Islam, the Palestinian al Qaeda cell in Gaza tried to assassinate former US president Jimmy Carter by planting a 200-kilo bomb in the path of his exit through the Erez crossing after he held sympathetic talks with its Hamas rulers. The Israeli military watched the huge device from across the border. Carter had a lucky escape; the bomb would have been lethal had it exploded.

The UN security guards escorting Carter must have been forewarned and his life saved. Hamas sappers defused the device but later denied it was there.

Nevertheless, some reports say Carter promises to urge President Barack Obama to remove the Palestinian extremist organization from the US list of designated terrorists.

Our sources note that US citizens are forbidden to enter the Gaza Strip and West Bank for fear Hamas or other Palestinian groups, including those linked to al Qaeda, will take them hostage. Carter got around the ban by entering with UN escort.

The same al Qaeda cell took part in the Hamas cross-border attack from Gaza to kidnap Israel soldiers a week ago and Hamas' Gilead Shalit's abduction three years ago.

Palestinian Authority security officials were not available to secure Carter's visit to Gaza because of their feud. In the last two years, the US has invested hundreds of millions of dollars in building and training a 1,500-strong PA special force for guarding Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and his West Bank government.

In Gaza City, Carter told his extremist hosts he feels personally responsible for the fact that Israel used US-made weapons to fight Hamas in Gaza in January. Israel launched its offensive to stop the hail of Hamas rockets assaulting Israel towns and villages four years after its forces handed the Gaza Strip over to Palestinian rule. Carter "held back tears" at the sight of living conditions there for which he held Israel wholly responsible.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad at Tuesday's meeting of the leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member-nations in Yekaterinburg, June 16, 2009.
Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad calls for the creation of a new world order in dealing with the many challenges arising in the international political arena.

"What we need now is a dramatic change in world political thought," said President Ahmadinejad in a Tuesday address to the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Moscow.

"Western-style capitalism is falling apart, marking the end of the age of Imperialism," he added.

Ahmadinejad said the new world order should be less US-centric. "Washington's many political and economic woes show that its judgment can no longer be trusted," he explained.

Iran's Friday election saw Ahmadinejad win 24.5 million of the votes -- nearly 62 percent.

Ahmadinejad's main rival, Mir-Hossein Moussavi, came second with 13.2 million votes, followed by Mohsen Rezaei with more than 630 thousand votes and Mehdi Karroubi with 320 thousand votes.

On this week's edition of "The Hal Lindsey Report," I'm going to take a close look at two stories. First, the election in Iran. Unfortunately, the scheduling requirements of our production cycle do not allow me to report the absolute, latest-breaking facts and figures. That's why I've chosen to share with you some background information and perspective about the situation in Iran and the candidates involved in the controversy.

As a side note, it strikes me as particularly dramatic that the hundreds of thousands of Iranians who have taken to the streets to protest this fraudulent election are risking their lives in a desperate attempt to change their prospects for the future. The fact that the candidate they're supporting is cut from the same cloth as the current president only highlights the hopelessness of their lives. The Muslim Mullahs are the real power in Iran. Everyone knows that. Yet these Iranians are so desperate for freedom and self-determination they will risk everything for even the slightest possibility of effecting real change.

Some observers have noted that many of the protest signs are written in English and the crowds are chanting slogans in English. They believe that they're trying to attract the attention of America and the West. It only proves to me that no matter how apologetic President Obama is about our nation's history, America is still viewed by the oppressed of the world as their last, best hope.

Also, I'll review Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's recent policy speech on the "two-state solution." His Sunday evening address was a masterpiece of diplomatic statecraft. He did as President Obama is pressuring him to do. For the first time, he publicly declared his support for an eventual Palestinian state. However, he was boldly realistic about the requirements that must be fulfilled for that state to become a reality. In the eyes of the Israeli citizens, he hit a home run. In the eyes of the Arab world, Netanyahu is now ranked somewhere just below pond scum! I could name some other world leaders who could learn a lesson or two from Mr. Netanyahu!

Finally, this week I am going to take just a few minutes to answer a viewer's e-mail. She wrote that after last week's program, she fell to her knees and was literally sick to her stomach. Not because she didn't believe what she heard, but because she did. She asked me point-blank how a Christian should respond to the overwhelming events we're witnessing everyday -- events that are predicted by the Bible prophets to occur before Christ's return (which we eagerly and joyfully anticipate), but which are, nonetheless, painful and frightening to observe. I'm going to share a few thoughts and, hopefully, some helpful advice on that subject.

Strategic Affairs Minister Moshe Ya'alon said Saturday he believes the ongoing demonstrations in Iran over last week's disputed election result will eventually lead to a revolution, Army Radio reported.

"[Opposition leader] Mousavi and his wife have brought a new spirit of openness and freedom," Ya'alon was quoted as saying during a speech in Modi'in.

"It is impossible to hide this energy - and therefore there will eventually be a revolution in Iran. Seventy percent of Iranians oppose the regime of the ayatollahs. I said that when I was the head of Military Intelligence, and I am saying it again now."
