They work pretty good in my 7.62 rifles. Never had any malfunctions with mine. I use them as range mags to save the wear and tear on my steelies.
I don't think I would want to depend on them in a serious situation since they don't have any steel reinforcements like the circle tens and military poly mags but they are quality mags for what they are.
In fact I wish tapco would make 5.56 mags to work in the SLR bulgy rifles
Wish they made them for the VZ58's too,,,,some 5's and 20's rnd would be nice. What a handy rifle for the woods for relatively close up hunting in slash,,,,, the're very sweat!!
I have a Tapco and a Promag for my SKS - both 20-rounders. The Promag runs very well in my gun, but the Tapco won't cycle worth a flip. The Tapco is brand new, though.
Add 4 Ar15 Tapco mags to the list. As with the rest, they function flawlessly.
