Bubba I to Bubba II
BUBBA II., fresh out of the oven from KG-GunKote.
I ended up with a somewhat bubba built AMD65. It was on a older OOW/ITM receiver. Soft with a few dents and an odd optics rail.
No 922r parts and an oddly fabricated AMD65 original brake that was hand extended with braze welding? it appeared.
Rattle can paint it appeared and a bit of cant to the trunnion/receiver rivet work.
I pulled it apart from the old receiver., I already have AMD's so I decided to fab it up in a bubba style.
The buttstock is a micro-Galil folder welded to the AMD65 pivot block.
The charging handle is welded up to clear the folder stock.
The muzzle attachment/extension is Tantal.
FSB/GB is from the IO offerings.
Front furniture is some Russian set I purchased in a WTS section on line.
I want to fab up a selector extension so the safety can be released with the stock folded. Not as easy as I first though in order to get it to clear the carrier path when engaged. Still thinking on that.
The right side required shortening the rear long rivet heads and the selector pivot outside domesd area and a little inletting on the stock.
Original OOW receiver>
That looks good! Thanks for the pics!
Bubba II did some nice work on that!
That gun looks bad! What kind of folder is that.
In the description above^..., micro-Galil welded to the AMD 65 pivot block.

I have looked at them but they seem to be balky or in the way of disassembly.., but might look at them again. Extended right hand is likely where I'll go.

Wow, excellent work really looks great!
