    Default 16" bbl RPD

This is a custom RPD we are building to try out some variations. the barrel has been cut to 16" and a FAL flash hider installed. we eliminated the bipod and will be making a custom ammo holder to get rid of the bulky drum that sits on the side and throws the gun off balance. it is finishe with Dulite, it is a hot salt type bath that gives a nice matte black finish.

The 16" is very compact looking. What is the standard length RPD? Got any side by side photos?

i'm guessing that if you have to ask what something like that would cost you probably can't afford it ?

    Very nice!!

Some of the LRRPs in Vietnam used RPDs with the barrels cut to appx 16 inches. That made it a lot easier to handle in the thick vegetation.
