Dang, I would hate to carry that on a 12 mile roadmarch. That would be worse than humping the pig (M60).
You may want to re-think that purchase. Do a search on botach on any site, you will find something like this.

More interesting reading from the BBB.

How many other folks do you imagine they've screwed that never bothered to file a complaint with the BBB?
You read my mind 7.62. I stumbled over some of those complaints and have been re-thinking it. Thanks for the heads up.
Ok, Ive got it together except for the front pivot pin. The spring and detent are a pain in the ass so Ive decided just to buy a pivot pin with the push butto release ball detent. My question is which diameter, .250 or .315? Ive tried to find the specs on my receiver but havent had any luck. Anyone know which one will work best?
You need .250
You can get a .250 clevis pin from a hardware store for around a quarter. It makes installing the detent a snap, works exactly the same as the detent tool that Brownell's, Midway, Numrich etc. sells.
7.62x39 That AR in the picture looks like it weighs about 30 pounds, have you tried the Grip Pod, verticle fore grip with push button bi-pods.
I am going to try them on a 20" heavy barrel free float that I'm building, they only weigh 7oz and this rifle is already going to be heavy.
Please don't associate me with that monstrosity. LOL

The only legit sounding info on it that I've ever seen was that a couple of guys at a gun shop got bored and decided to have some fun. They rounded up every piece of tactical equipment they could find in the place and hung it on a AR.
