Don't know the availability of Century's 2nd gen inch receivers, but I used a Century 2nd gen (widow's peak feed ramps) for my metric build, and it went together nicely and functions almost perfectly. (I say almost, because the darned thing insists that I do some of the work - like aiming, good technique - when shooting it!)

If there are inch-pattern Century's out there with the widow's peak feed ramp, I don't think you can go too wrong.

That having been said, a buddy built up an L1A1 with a metric barrel, and the gas port is messed up. He ordered in the converted barrel, so it wasn't his fault, but the port is misaligned and he can't get enough gas through to cycle. If you build using a metric barrel conversion, be careful so you don't get bit by the same type of error...

My friend waited nearly 8 months for his inch-pattern DSA receiver.

Did you call to see if they had them in stock?

Nope... I am sure if I ordered something it would be a wait time.

IIRC from what my friend said, if they don't have them in stock, you'll have to wait until they have enough demand to do another production run.

Worth the wait, and the cash. Haven't messed with FALs in years, but back then the DSA was the best of them all, the others were a lot less "plug and play". Over the years I have heard various QC complaints about the other makers, "upgrades" to the designs etc. DSA got it right the first time and continues to do so.

Default Had issues with Entreprise Inch Receiver

I have an Aussie L1A1 parts kit and an Entreprise receiver.
There were clearance issues at the hinge joint and the top cover
rail groove cuts. In addition the first time the cover was installed, the
receiver cracked at the thin section of the top cover groove cut.
    I recommend going with DSA.

Got one on the way... found a guy who had a DSA L1A1 receiver for sale. Now where do I find a good US Made fire control group that won't make me go broke?
