    Default FN30 build

I finally got my FN30 built, this has been in progress for almost a year. It is based on the Halo design with a Halo plate. I got my internals back about 6 weeks ago but did not have time to even look at it. I decided to take a break from building stuff for everyone else and do a build for me.
this thing has a lot of rivets, I hot set them all by hand and finished them in the press. I fit the internals today and it looks like it will work, I need to cycle some dummy rounds through it next. hopefully I will be able to test it this weekend, and if it works park it the week after.
It is in .308 but 1919 bbls fit, so I will try to convert it to either 8mm or 30-06 so it will be cheaper to shoot.

    It looks real good!

Where do you find info on builting it up as a semi-auto? I was hoping to find a way to use an AR-15 FCG.

I got the sideplate and sa trigger and sear and internals machined by Halo.
basically it is like building a 1919 but a lot more rivets

Wow Stan -- That's really nice. Do the internals match the 1919 operationally?

Yes, inside the internals are pretty much the same except the trigger setup is mounted to the top plate.
