    Question Saiga mount

    Does anyone have an opinion on this mount? Seems hard to find and not much information available on it.

    I have one on my .223 Saiga. It's the Russian version of the Belarus BP-02. Bought it because I thought that Russian quality would be superior to Belarus quality. Very hard to find outside of Russia. It has integral mount rings attached to it. When I first got mine, I discovered that the windage was off by more than the scope would adjust to. So I had to shim it by placing a stainless steel washer (sanded to my calculated thickness) on one of the ring support bolts. Now it's fine. By the way, the ring spacing arrangement on a Saiga allows for use of the scope bell up to 45mm in diameter. My scope is a Swift 669M which has a 44mm bell that just barely clears the top of the rifle. Here is a photo of the mount:
