    Default RPD Gas Port

Two questions on a RPD barrel. The barrel is a new US production barrel. I need to drill a hole for the gas block, how big is it supposed to be? Second, do I need to make a cut for the extractor? I have heard rumors that a cut is neeeded for new US barrels, but I have not seen one or heard any specifics on it. Thanks for any help.

Yes you will need to make the extractor cut.

Does your kit have the barrel stub in the gas block? Push it out and get the gas port specs from it.

Thanks guys. Does anyone have any details on the extractor cut? Maybe a pic or some specs?
