picked up a super duper short AR upper from a fellow member here... when it got here with the fancy stainless barrel & the very nice buffer tube work he did...
instantly thought this would be a great one to use my 80% forged lower from TEC Tactical.
Pyrotex had some of these a while back,
so i chucked this up.. finished it out real quick & thru it all together..
i think think the silver with the black really sets this off. sure its just another AR put together.. & yes i need to video this firebreather.
What kind of brake is on that?
Jacksork is who i got this from & its something he had for it.
it appears to be a 2" piece of SS with a endcap in it.. thread for 1/2x 28. its very light weight.
this is very LOUD. will have to test it at nite to see if its a flash hider or a multiplier. :-)
Looks awesome! I keep looking for deals on pistol length uppers to go with my 80% pistol lower that I finished back 6-8 months ago Looks great, but I have nothing to put on it. LOL. Same old deal. If I have money, there are no deals. If I'm broke they're deals everywhere. Dangit! LOL.
Enforcement, NOT Amnesty!!!!!!
"If they’re going to come here illegally, apply for & receive assistance through a corrupted Government agency encouraging this lawless behavior, work under the table & send billions of dollars each year back to their families in Mexico, while bleeding local economies dry, protest in our streets waving their Mexican flags DEMANDING rights, while I have to press ’1′ for English, then they need to be shipped back to where they came from!" -Chad Miller
& im trying to get OUT of AR's.... LMAO
will probably sell this whole thing a little later as my purge continues... the problem is i just cant stop building. its an obsession. i have to build... must build.... even in my sleep... i build.. it cant stop, it wont stop... it NEVER stops...
I keep telling myself no new calibers.
I had thinned the herd down to 4 basic calibers. 7.62X39, 7.62X51, 5.45X39 and 5.56X45. With the exception of my old 30.06 deer rifle and some .22s everything else in the rifle inventory was in one of those 4 calibers. Life was good.
So why in hell did I just build a .300BLK? Well, I'm blaming it on my boss. He said take this 80% billet prototype (one off, hand machined) and see if there's a receiver in there somewhere and report back. Well after I found the receiver, I had to do something with it, right?
ive already decided that if i dont like how this runs... i'll move it over to 300blk just so i can say i had one. LMAO
yes the kits do look cool with the un-anodized lowers but over time they will turn dud gray and naturally anodize
Sprat and sprat1 are one and the same.
