    Default Going out of business?

Is Centerfire Systems going out of business ?
Centerfire has had some very strong sales lately. Makes you wonder if they are trying to make their inventory small before
    they close the doors.

their product line strength has declined over past 3-4 years IMO. I don't know if current aggressive sales pricing indicative of their own hard times as oppose hard-times in the industry. I'm hearing a lot of chatter from retailers about sales taking a huge plummet in the past few month. they had 3 fat years that inevitably to be followed by 2-3 lean years, since all the frantic buying has stretched most people high and dry. this could spell trouble for some shops. if they don't read market right and not able to switch gears quickly enough to meet ever changing market trends they might find themselves going the way of dodo.

I've not bought much from them since Lois left. She treated me very well.

Quite a few years ago, about half of the guys on Gunco had a phone crush on Lois, including me. She just had a very pleasant
voice, and conducted herself well. That's about the time all the wonderful Russian and Yugo kits started coming into the USA.
    That indeed were good times.

Id love a original barrel AMD 63 kit regret never getting one or being able to affording one back then as they were alost $200 when a rommy was $75 .

its one of my favorite versisons .

Kits are scarce an CFS has more actual guns than ever for sale they have just changed with the times .
You never know what you will get when you order form them . I got a few of those $55 m70 kits an the barrels were all decent some guys got screwed.

they also sent me a box of sunomies that had about a quart of used motor oil leaking out of the box damaged my deck an my carpet . I got them to pay a little mainly in discounts on my next order . UPS jumped there ass also . oil leaking everywere . swear the bag was filled with the crap .

I latched onto some of the Hungarian kits over the years. Always liked the unique look of the furniture.
