Correct , it's no longer a c&r, but it was an older sporter redo from many years ago with the stock barrel and I got it from a private sale. I'd never sporterize a stock configuration 03 unless it was really beat otherwise.
I did a ton of work to it,,jeweled the bolt, polished the bolt face, redid the stock, installed a Douglas premium mid profile barrel, match chamber, some trigger polishing and re-blued it. I think it came out OK if I do say so myself. It has a very pretty grained stock too, my funky camera just doesn't do it justice.
Shoots awesome too. Getting 1/2MOA all day long with it, I'm all good with that!
