    any body ever buy a 80% from these guys?


    this ain't the same guy that crapped out on our group buy is it?--LOL!
    now i got a semi-nice drill press i am itching to build a lower--

    I havnt heard of him, And his prices on uppers and lowers are on the high side...Doc

    yea i am keeping an eye on them maybe the prices will sort of "get back to normal" on lowers --like they are on everything else--

    He's crazy expensive. I just received a couple of Ares 80% lowers. They are very nice and priced right. The only problem is the back log.

    I think the price dif is because they are machined from billet. They are nice, I have a billet lower on my shorty, but I got it because its all I could find at the time. I would say that if you had to have billet these would save u some cash.

    j427, do you have a jig and all for a 80% lower? can a cheap drill press work or screw a job like that?

    i haven't done a 80% for a quite a while -- i had some wooden jigs made up from a finished lower , homemade , the bad news is they seemed to have walked out of here to parts unknown too--

    somebody around here has got to have a few loaner jigs though.

    he has a pretty nice looking jig.. but he's too high for what he's offering..

    theres a blue million people offering 80% set ups now days.
