Default Bed side holster to "welcome" uninvited guests

Here is a device I made to hold my Glock 17. I made it from a piece of scrap kydex, a old Fobus kydex holster I got out of a $5 box at a gun show and a L bracket I riveted to the kydex to keep it rigid. It tucks between the mattress and box spring.

I have always believed the adage I read somewhere that says "God helps those that help themselves" which goes with the other "When seconds count, the police are only minutes away"

Not necessarily - he might have one for both sides of the bed - and the one in the picture might be for his wife.

And I do agree - nicely done.

Looks like that will spoil some burglar's night. Well done.

I'd cover those exposed screw ends with some duct tape to prevent mattress and bedding damage and the resulting ass-kicking from the wife. And where is your 33 rd happy stick???
