    Very interesting thank you Tommo. I never liked the damn gun ever since I got my thumb crushed by the bolt in boot camp. Not sure what was worse the pain from that or the D.I.s size 11 boot in my ass?

    I got to handle one of the FAL's made for the trials. For a young gun person it was a treat. Back then I could have bought and taxed a MAC10 for what I paid for a model 29 in the wood box.
