    Default wood stippling

Bizarre as it may sound, I think this might work out okay on the right sort of gun. From the gunheads of Pakistan:

"What is Wood Stippling? Well!.....Its checkering's ugly cousin which is done to impart a better gripping surface on wood stock for a better hold/handling of a firearm."

    That's interesting
But I think that's one of those things that's like a work of art, it will only look right on certain things and I don't care for it on that shotgun he did, but on the right firearm I think it would be a great looking personal touch.

Here's two pics of the shotgun from the link

Have to agree Coils,,and BTW I'm glad to see you back around again Bud,,

I had a set of fancy thumb rest grips that were stippled and they looked decent and were fairly grippe and I really liked them allot. I can't remember if they were on a Buckmark or a Ruger MK series I had at one time,,don't recall right now. On one or the other anyways.
