I shot the Suomi today. About 60 rounds total. I still have a few more mods to make to it and a new two stage recoil system before I weld it up and remove the bolts/screw holding on the barrel bushing and jacket. It was pretty sweet to shoot, no recoil to speek of. You could watch where your bullet was hitting because the sights didn't move much when you shot. I need to order the drums now!
Thanks sjohnson, I started out making a sgn-9, but after seeing a suomi and reading about it I switched directions and made this one instead. I have another kit and plan on making that one with the takedown feature.
Which kit did you build off of, and how hard did you feel the build was. The wife is wanting to get me a gun kit for V-day and I was debating between a Skorpion, PPSh-41, the KP44, and the Suomi.
