The only tried and true drum for the S12 is the MD Arms, which is selling for a fantastic price now.

If you get an S12, they are incredibly easy to convert from a sporter style to a classic AK style.
Molot Vepr shotguns are cool, but they are very expensive.
You can get an unconverted Saiga 12 from the $450 to $600 range, I've only seen one in the last 3 years for $450, who knows, you may luck-out and find another.
What a Alfa GTV 2.0? I'm sure they will sell you that one really cheap
If you want a shotgun, yes, get the S12. They are great and easy to convert.
Also have to agree with vbrtrmn, MD Arms drum is great.
