I have an AK builder modified Tapco FCG, the trigger appears to be a double hook that was modified to a single hook, it seems to bind in the receiver. I am wondering if I should just trade it for the Arsenal Inc group or carve it up further to make it fit. Has any one any experience with Arsenal FCG and is it any better than the Tapco?
I modded a Tapco for my S12 conversion and it works perfectly so I would just try to figure out why your's doesn't. It's really a pretty straight forward mod. Can you see what is hanging it up?
Yeah look at what's hanging up and give us more details, I used a single hook Tapco on mine and the trigger was fine at the receiver area.
Maybe it's the right front corner of the trigger if it was a double hook?
Never messed with Arsenal's FCG so can't comment on that
I have one of each. The arsenal is a bit more difficult to install as it doesn't have the sleeve that holds the trigger and disconnector together. As for everything else the tapco seems to fit better in both the arsenal binds up in one but not the other. But my problem there is with the disconnector hanging up not the trigger binding. If I get another I will probably get a modded tapco.
I have the AK Builder modified Tapco in my S-12, and I have had no trouble with it. Perhaps yours needs to go back to Curtis for re-work?
