let's see, 250 million guns, timeas an average price of $2000 each, = 1/2 trillion dollars, when we owe 100trillion $ and have no way to fund even 10% of that debt.
i would be a bit leery of any buy back --people willing to sell guns for what the gov is willing to pay are likely stole the guns to start with.
sort of like these idiot meth heads that will do $20k in destruction to sell copper for $200 scrap price.
