Good Luck.I was approved in early 2010 after finding I have severe COPD and doing a triple bypass on me in Oct of 2009.Had been unemployed since April of 08 and was 55 at that time. The VA offered me up to $1200 something a month if I had nothing else.My SSDI payed more.I still pay $100 a month to medicare and don't use it.
My bad I was only on step 5 but now I am on step 6 today. Pray for me and my family that it goes well the last time I had to appeal something it took 4 years. That was befor all the new vets started fileing.
