Just about finished with an AR15 44x1.8" version. Used one of the rounded lugged bolts and extensions that are rated to 65K psi for a .473" bolt head, ss barrel , Guntec mid-length handguard, carbine length gas system, Burris 3-9, 450BM or USGI mags with center feed follower 16" barrel-.980" to .875" gas block-.845" to 11/16"-24TPI muzzle threads. Shoots the same ammo as out of my AR10 although the COL is slightly shorter in the AR15 magazines. I'll likely use the 265 FN-innerlock Hornady bullet loaded between 2250-2300fps this fall. That load actually beats my 444 Marlin with a 22" barrel.
