    Is your lathe 4' between centers or does it have a 4' bed? My lathe is 4' between centers and it is close to 7' long.

    I got to take some measurements.
    I will send the FSB to you since the sleeve would have to be welded in.

    Basically I guess you could make a ROD that would fit into the FSB.
    Then weld it in place.
    Then chuck it up in the mill and center drill it to the correct size.

    I am not in a hurry and will await till I get a unmolested FSB to follow.
