I love that show I started watching and it got me hooked again so I now have and anvil a Gas forge and rebuilding a Coal forge and I built a belt grinder I don't think I could ever do a knife in 4 hours but it fun to get back into it I used to when I was a kid but when your an adult you can get better tools I'v made a couple knives from rail road spike and a horse knife and 3 ball peen hammer tomahawks I notice the more you do it the better the results. I would like to see there final challenge to forge a pipe tomahawk that would be interesting

I never forged though my Dad told me about the using a file or a railroad spike to make into a knife. Used transmission fluid to quench. just never did it.
