    Default Potential National Truckers Strike

I have seen several reports of a potential truckers strike protesting the Biden/Harris new green wieny deal, and their anti-fracking stance. This strike is proposed to take place starting November 26 and running through November 29.

Not sure if it is related or not but there have also been reports of a run on toilet paper and paper towels in some states.

Happy Thanksgiving and welcome to 4 more years of craziness, nonsense and shit storms.

Already called off and not much chance of it happening.
Also tried to start a strike around Labor Day., no dice.

    Not likely to happen.

No need for a nationwide strike, just stop delivering to NYC, Chicago, DC, etc. All the big major population centers that always vote Democrat.

Within 2 weeks they would start to resemble Escape from New York or Bartertown from Mad Max!

Dunno if it is about brotherhood vs the current conditions..

Current environment with COVID 19, unemployment and economic downturn etc., would not be good timing.

The states or POTUS might step in quickly and declare a state of emergency as a reaction.

A strike would be very bad public relations for the over the road trucking industry.

The 1.4 million member Teamsters union would need to be on board to make it happen on a large scale.

Union/Teamster strike requires a majority vote by the membership.
    Not likely to happen.

No problem, just hire Dominion to run the vote... 109% voted to strike. Done deal.

Teamsters vote on contracts,, strikes etc., via "Black Book" electronic email voting.
