Default WTB Homemade jig for bending flats

over the years I have seem some members make jigs for bending flats and raw steel sheets usually made from "L" brackets bolted together with a square mandrel which is force down by screwing the bolts down ( without a press)

if have one of these you wish to sell send me pictures and asking price

or better yet if i can borrow I will pay postage both ways

    pm me the details

Arms of America is still showing pre bent Polish blanks also. I'm surprised at that.

this is NOT for a ak flat, I do not use flats only flat steel and it requires a press

again I am looking for a homemade jig two "L" brackets attached by nuts and bolts and a bar that the steel flat is pressed down via nut and bolt

I had one also, I got in a trade, I never bent flats so I had no use for it and sold it to a new guy on one of the ak sites

anyway I found what I am looking for, the sad part of being a longtime member is you remember stuff, but not where to find it so I found the original thread here on making one

I need to build a square box for a ar-180 style receiver since the dimensions are not standard I have to make my own box receiver. I found a old you-tube video, the guy was cool enough to reference the builder grasshooper and gunco
