Default Carmac Calico AR-15 MAC 9mm Upper

IM Designing and building an upper that uses Calico 9mm drums 50-100. Based roughly around a mac 9mm upper. Would anyone be interested in this?

I am interested. How are you gong to get the drum low enough to feed a round with the AR tower in the way.

I have a Calico build in the works using a M11 bolt (I put it away for now). Hard to get the mag close to the bolt.

Interested in seeing what you come up for a feed ramp.

Took your suggestion.... Moved over here...... Like I said between calico's "calico/mac". And seeing you build your design, gave me the inspiration! I know it will work. A whole lot of measuring and here is where IM at today... I even took your suggestion. I got one 50rd and one 100rd drum from CDNN.... I need to bend the sides for the drum. Make my own latches for the drum, Make the magazine face and cut a slot for the side cocker. I hope to test fire before the end of the year. And with the addition of a Trip rod, It can be adapted to a full auto lower to fire in full automatic.....

Well in the top picture, The sides are not bent to form against the magazine yet. Once they are, everything falls into place...
