Here's the ss kit that came from PSA. Looks good, Not a high dollar kit, but better than a lot of parts kits I've seen that were more money. The barrel looks good, bolt is MC marked, carrier is chrome lined and better machined than some carriers I have from FN and Colt, upper is even internally coated with Teflon (looks bright gray from the flash). The only nitpicky thing I can come up with is I'd prefer not having their logo on the side of the upper, and the heat shields aren't coated so they're bright. Two cosmetic non issues really. The handguards seem thicker or sturdier than others I've bought from more well known makers. The only thing I plan to do to it is a trigger job which all my kits get.

moleman that looks real nice. Look into the Geissele triggers, I have a few and really like them. Not sure on the straight trigger, never really tried one but their other products work as advertised.

I cleared the weapon and put it though some pretty good butt banging trying to set the action off and it withstood everything I gave it. Pretty good for a 2 pound trigger. I use these..

Thanks 4TH, I see they've come down a bit since I last looked at them. I've shot guns with the RRA two stage trigger in them and liked them. I hear the Geissele is even better.

Got mine yesterday. Looks amazing for the price. 5 days from order to door. Looks like all it needs is a little polish on the trigger and drill and tap it for an adjuster screw.

LOL there must be something wrong! My son ordered a kit from them and it came in less than a week. That's way less than their usual 2-3 weeks.

They seem to be easily overwhelmed when they get a bunch of orders. Must be fairly slow right now.

Well I slapped this together in about an hour. I had the rails and red dot so all of this for under $500. Since it has the 1:7 barrel I will probably be adding some good glass and chop the front sight and mount offset irons. Then add a light so it will be good for anything a poodle shooter can handle. Now to get out back and shoot it.
