You should go to BB's house and help him clean. You may find a nice scope or an M1 Abrams in there!

I see budget AR15 rifles coming out now. Just got this on an mailer from Kentucky Guns:

    Del-Ton Inc. Sport Lite AR-15 Semi-Automatic Rifle

Almost time to buy a few firearms for Christmas gifts. Last year it was Semi-Auto Escort shotguns all around for nephews and nieces. The year before Olympic ARs for Christmas. A couple nieces got Razor compound bows and arrows since they wanted to bow hunt this year and probably because they are"Hunger Game" fans. Anyway, prices for ARs (and AKs to a degree) are coming back to somewhat reasonable levels.

I did stumble on an old 4X Leatherwood scope in the garage last week. Put it on the DPMS .308 Wally World Special when they closed out their AR platform rifles. Sportsman's Guide has them (two types) on sale I think.

    My personal AR set:

(L-R: DPMS .308, Colt 6940 LE, Daniel Defense, Bushmaster)

Have others but they are just for investment or SHTF maybe. Have more AKs than ARs from back when they were cheap and from the building days. Besides, the AK ammo is still cheaper and have lots of cases and crates of ammo that "Bought Cheap and Stacked Deep".

That upper I'm getting will be going on my Bush Master A2 stocked match lower,,I like those better for hunting than a collapsible one myself.I'm sure I'll try it out on the Sig M4 lower also but it will be on the A2 stocked one mostly.

Bad part now , after getting the TT33 and spare mags, the upper, mags for it and a couple other trinket things all in one month, I'll defiantly have to sell something else now !! The budget sure took a beating this month !!!

I've got a NIB 1863 LLPetta 357 mag in 5.5" barrel, case hardened and a decent P64 that will be going for sure and not sure quite just what else yet? More than likely a couple long range guns and a couple higher end ones that don't ever get used now our ranges are all gone.

Target shooting match's and long range varmint sniping are history around here now ,,sadly So there probably better off going to where they'll get used and better appreciated anyways.

I'll get some pics up here when I cipher out just what's going and put up some WTS adds with pics ect. Maybe they'll be something in there, someone here would like ?? Ya Never know ?

    Well got the upper today,,

did a quick bore sight with just a cheapy 3X9 Bushnell on it, went down to a spot I normally shoot at and made a couple adjustments at 40 yards leaning on a tree, then moved out to a 100, a couple minor slight adjustments and I was easily picking off half dollar size rocks on 3 power. Lets see????? Do I like Bear Creeks uppers????,,,,,Hummmm

HELL YA, not a hick up with the 6 10 round mags I put through it and it fits both my lowers snug as hell without a single wiggle. It's Very tight on the Bush Master lower though, but that's a match gun, so no surprise there, that's a real tight gun anyways. I have rubber action wedges, but I sure won't need one for this upper on the Bush Master ,, on the sig I have a wedge and fits nice and snug there too.. The forearm is a nice tight one also no slop there either. A very nice upper, no doubt!!

I Can't wait to print it on paper, but couldn't today though, the spot I went to got pretty wet with all the rain last week and I just had sneakers on.

I'll get a target posted as soon as I can , but off hand @100 and hitting half dollar size rocks on the bank every single time,,,,,,that makes it look pretty Damn Good so far to me !!

You Certainly are right Bear Creek,,I'm NOT DISAPPOINTED AT ALL, Very Nice Indeed !!

I've wanted a X39 upper forever,,and this seems to be a dandy!!! The front sight will be switched out for a low block though. The only downside to this upper for hunting, the front sight, I may just cut it off and re-profile the stub and touch up blue the spot instead?

BTW,,,Will doing either one void the warrentee Bear Creek?? I shouldn't think so??
